SBI Clerk Main 2019: State Bank of India (SBI) conducted the Clerk Main Exam 2019 today, August 10. The SBI Clerk Main Exam 2019 is being conducted in two time slots - morning and evening.

SBI Clerk Main 2019: State Bank of India (SBI) conducted the Clerk Main Exam 2019 today, August 10. The SBI Clerk Main Exam 2019 is being conducted in two time slots - morning and evening.

A total of 190 questions were to be answered in 160 minutes. All other sections, except the English language section, were available bilingually, that is, in both English and Hindi. For every wrong answer there was a negative marking of one-fourth of the marks given to that question.

General / Financial Awareness:
The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate to easy. Most of the questions came from banking awareness, financial awareness and current affairs of last 5-6 months.


There were some questions from the static section of General Awareness. 30-32 questions were from Current Affairs. 10–12 questions were from banking awareness. 3-4 questions were from the budget.

SBI Clerk 2019 Exam Pattern/Syllabus for Preliminary Exam

There are 3 sections in the exam – Reasoning Ability, English Language and Numeric Ability. The time span of all the sections is 20 minutes each. The marks obtained in preliminary exam are just the qualifying marks for the main exam, it does not offer any type of employment.

Correct Answer: +1 mark
Incorrect Answer: -0.25 mark
